This historic home was formerly the home of the Dunedin’s train station master and his family. In recent years it was attached to a 4 story concrete structure in an ill-fated attempt to turn it into a hotel. In order to preserve the original building it had to be first carefully detached from the concrete structure, then was moved to a new site, where it underwent extensive renovations, as well as the addition of a new kitchen and 3 new bedroom suites on the upper levels.
